Topic: Using the Accessibility Checker plugin

As we roll out the member library website accessibility updates throughout 2026 and 2027, one of the key features we will be adding is the Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker plugin for WordPress. This session will give an overview of how you can use this plugin on your site to review pages, understand key errors that you can address, give examples of errors that require assistance from the LEANWI team, and, how once the full featured plugin is installed, you can report errors and request help from the LEANWI website team.

The Website Accessibility Learning Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month, 11 AM - 12 PM.

This group will focus on learning about and determining specific steps LEANWI website library staff need to take to come into compliance with the new Title II (public entities) ADA requirements for accessibility of websites and mobile devices (https://www.ada.gov/resources/small-entity-compliance-guide/).
