Learn how to use the Divi Supreme Pro plugin to add custom attribute tags to Divi modules to improve a website's accessibility scan results. This will include "easy," "advanced," and "unfixable" scenarios, and which are fixable and which ones you can send a ticket request to fix. 

Note: this discussion will use both basic tools and also HTML/CSS code through a browser's Inspect tools. Some knowledge of website code is helpful, but this session's goal is to give a peek "under the hood" of website accessibility functions, even if you're not comfortable getting hands greasy and fixing things yourself.

The Website Accessibility Learning Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month, 11 AM - 12 PM.

This group will focus on learning about and determining specific steps LEANWI website library staff need to take to come into compliance with the new Title II (public entities) ADA requirements for accessibility of websites and mobile devices (https://www.ada.gov/resources/small-entity-compliance-guide/).

Topic: Scheduling Elements with the Divi Supreme Pro Plugin


The "Scheduled Element" Extension that comes with the Divi Supreme Pro Plugin allows a web manager to schedule a Divi section, row, or module to appear or disappear on a website during a set time period. This session will walk through using this feature for scheduling information on a website. Together with the scheduled post feature, the PublishPress Future post expiration plugin and the WP-Notification Bar plugin, the Scheduled Element tool can help streamline workflows and reduce the number of times a web manager needs to directly access the administrative side of the website.
